Journey to Baresdhoo Island: Walking the Star Wars Set
Afterward, we visited a place that's been on my bucket list for years - Baresdhoo Island. If it sounds familiar, it's because you've seen it on the big screen. Yep, this is where scenes from Star Wars were shot. Walking around the island, I could almost hear the iconic theme music playing in the background. To say it was one of the highlights of my day would be an understatement.
Moving to Six Senses Laamu: Exceeding Expectations
Our day ended with us moving to our next location, the Six Senses Laamu. Now, I've been to my fair share of resorts, but this place? It took the cake. It was like stepping into a world where everything is designed to exceed expectations. I'll be doing a separate post to talk about the resort, their team, facilities, and service, but for now, let me tell you this: Six Senses Laamu went above and beyond in every way.
